I've had the opportunity to compete in some amazing venues and places. This are some of my favorites:
Governors Island: LGCT NEW YORK
The Longines Global Champions Tour in New York City was one of the most surreal experiences I've ever had. It was located in Governors Island where we had to use the ferry as transportation for the horses and the team. I showed in the 2* medium tour. It started on Thursday on a 1.20mt class were I obtained 6th place. Then, Friday on a 1.25mt class in which I obtained a top 10 placing and ended on Saturday on a 1.30mt class in which I obtained a top 12 placing. I ended up the weekend on a high note since I gained a lot of knowledge from this experience as a rider and as a person as well.
Michigan: North American Youth Championship
The North American Youth Championship is a premier equestrian competition for childrens, juniors, and young riders. I personally showed in the junior division that starts on Thursday on a 1.40mt speed class, then Friday on a Nations Cup format, and ends up on Sunday where the top 20 riders compete. I did it on 2022 which I ended up on the top 16th of my division representing Guatemala. I felt very proud by representing my country in this championship and very happy of doing it with the most amazing and special mare Ferdita.
Florida: Winter Equestrian Festival
The Winter Equestrian Festival is a three month circuit with several divisions for all riders from all ages. Last year on 2022 I performed in the Medium Junior division (1.30-1.35) with my mare Ferdita. I was able to gain top placings from several weeks I showed and ended up in the top 8 circuit standings from 130 competitors.
